Loreal Colour Riche Balm in Pink Satin

Lipsticks that disguise themselves as lip balms seem to be all the rage these days. With the Revlon's lip butters hitting the market hard in the past few months, many brands have now followed suit. And I don't blame them! Lip color addicts feed into the frenzy and there's always something to be had with the fun, and flirty varieties of drugstore goodies, primarily with lipsticks that focus on moisturizing formulas with varying degrees of color.

A few months ago, I was obsessed with the Revlon lip butters. Not long after, I won a giveaway that included two Loreal Colour Riche balms. And let me just say... these are LOVE!

The Loreal Colour Riche balms are gorgeous gorgeous tinted lip balms in lipstick packaging. Very feminine and pretty to look at.

The texture is balmy and soft. I love the way it feels on my lips! Almost a gummy feel to it. It feels quite nice on the lips - non sticky, and buttery. It's like a nice layer of smoothness. Light and glossy, no filmy feel.

The shade I have is called Pink Satin and it is oh so lovely. I'd say this shade is like a milky baby pink. It's creamy and smooth. There is only that hint of color that makes it rich in moisture and low in maintenance. Can be applied anywhere, with or without a mirror. This particular shades contains no glitter, shimmer or micro anything. It has a rich buttery sheen with a touch of  baby pink.

It's definitely something that's an all-in-one for me because the hint of color is absolutely wearable. I haven't tried the other colors yet but I have a feeling they are just as nice. The Revlon Lip Butters are equally amazing too but you can't really compare the two as this one is marketed more as a sheer tinted balm and the Revlon ones a lipstick. But they do have similar packaging, and a big range of shades.

Like a MMBL shade - very natural shade. Hydrating AND moisturizing

Overall, I'm very in love with this lippie. I think people who'd love it will be people who prefer balms over lipsticks and enjoy wearing lip products with very sheer coverage. For a drugstore product, I think these Loreal balms are gorgeous and a gal should own more than one!  They're priced at a reasonable $6-$7, and depending on sales and whatnot, could be less. Which is a YAY in my book, always!

Have any of you tried these lip color balms?

I am glad you like it because I just love this packaging and the color of this line. It's probably the best looking lip products that in the drugstore. I also like how wearable these are.

This looks so pretty on you! I LOVE Revlon Lip Butters so I thought I would love these too. I seem to have bad luck with these because they dry out my lips so badly. I wonder if it is the shades I used or just that the product does not agree with me. I am glad you like this one though! It looks lovely!
