To start, I'm not a big fan of waterproof mascara because it not only takes forever to come off, it's also really drying for my lashes. I used to spend big bucks on high end mascaras but none seem to work any better than the drugstore variety. I've developed a special bond for Maybelline mascaras... all the ones in the Volum' Express line have amplified my lashes more than any mascara I have ever tried. Currently, I'm really into the Maybelline Magnum one, which is an Asia exclusive mascara that contains fibers. It's kind of like the Blinc Kiss Me mascara... which I also bought years ago and loved it but because of the $24 invested each time, I decided that I needed to kick the habit until I discover the formula to grow a money trees in my backyard =p
But since the Magnum is hard to get here in the US, the Colossal Volume is just as delightful :)

With 2 coats of mascara, and a mix of NYX Jade and Grey eyeshadows.
It seems a lot of people are big fans of Maybelline mascaras as well. I'm happy to see your comments about your favorite ones :) Yay!
This is my 2nd tube :) I love the Falsies one and the Stiletto one as well. I try not to be a hoarder but it's kind of hard :p

i love maybelline mascaras. when i was in hs, that was the 1st brand i tried! i've heard great things about this 1 & the Falsies one as well. gotta go check em out soon! your eye makeup is so pretty! the mascara works great for you =D

I love Mascaras from Maybelline! My current favorite is the Cat Eyes one. Although I've also tried Magnum and Stiletto which are both good ones as well. :P
i haven't tried this one. i've had some bad exp with maybelline XXL mascara, it did nothing for me but i've heard some great stuff about this one. i might give it a go :)
I love Maybelline mascaras too, but with asian lashes only the waterproof one works for me and they are really hard to remove!
I'm using the Falsies one at the moment but I think the Colossal is definitely my favourite.
I love Maybelline Mascaras! My favorite is the Pro XXL Extension which replace my all time favorite Intense XXL. It was a tragic day when they discontinued it and I bought 8 tubes from a vendor on Ebay. I just depleted my last tube and Pro XXL is good but like like its predecessor. I've never tried anything else so falsies is next in line. Waterproof mascara is a no thank for me, it's just too hard to take off! Thank you for stopping by and I am glad you liked my birthday dress :) You have ways to go before the next milestone I'm willing to bet!
I disliked that mascara because when I tried it had a funky smell :/ aha... but I do love Maybelline's mascaras! They're the best :D
I absolutely loved my Stiletto one! (wait that's the black/red one right??) but as with all mascaras, I kept losing an eyelash or two when removing and I DON'T rub :( lol. Glad this one has been working for you. Pictures of your false lashes please!

maybelline does make good mascaras! the mascara looks great on your eyes and i'm also very reluctant on doing a mascara review because i have the same problem as you do hehe. >.<
I've tried this one before and I remember it really plumped up my lashes, good to hear it works for you too!
I'm currently testing out Maybelline Falsies, still on the fence at the moment, hoping it ages well haha.
I never knew the Maybelline Magnum one is an Asia exclusive! ): I saw it in an issue of Popsister magazine from Japan and I was interested in buying it! But now I know it's an Asia exclusive T__T But the packaging for Magnum and Colossal look really similar so maybe I will try the Colossal because it might be an American version of Magnum? :D hahahaha~ my weird logic.. but goodluck on applying false lashes! I tend to stick with waterproof mascaras, but one that I found that is pretty decent AND easy to wash off is the Fairy Drops Sandal Queen mascara. My lashes do lose a bit of their curl but the formula is amazing! It's a tad expensive though, =( but it's been my favorite since I've bought it.

Omg. Im the same as you. i literally HATE waterproof mascaras. First one I tried was the Maybelline pulse perfection one.. it wasn't bad.. and it SORT of made my lashes longer but I'm such a noob at it, it looked weird. Then i tried the Kiss Me Heroine one? OMG. The hardest godamn thing to get off. even with wipes AND eye make up remover -_____-;;

I picked a colossal up when I was in europe last summer and personal, it was a disaster! I found the bristles too soft and the shape of the brush really didn't help my lashes get longer or thicker!
I'm all for the "falsies" or "magnum" here in S'pore...I find the brush much easier to plump up short fine lashes.
Glad to hear you've found some mascara to your liking! It can be difficult with our asian eyes and lashes but I find experimenting with application technique the best way to make mascara work for our eyes.
I like the green shadow very much...brown eyes seem to be able to carry off all colors in my opinion!

i know! i either break or lose them..so i opted for cheap ones..sometimes i do think about getting an expensive pair just for me to have something to hold on to..but then, what the heck..they're just sunnies..hahaha they're not prescription glasses or anything similar to that to splurge on :) i can buy more makeup or clothes with just a pair!
the colossal mascara's asian version is the magnum mascara and i love love the magnum! haven't tried the colossal here though..

my favourite drugstore mascara brand is maybelline as well! i find that the only one that really lasts on my lashes is the original volum' express waterproof mascara!
its great that you like it! i've heard very mixed reviews on this one.
I've loved Maybelline mascaras in general throughout the years, but I've found that lately they have been adding a lot of nasty fragrances into the formulas I can't stand (Lash Stiletto and The Falsies Flare). Not sure why they do this, but that tends to ruin my opinion of a mascara.
My all time favorites are The Falsies Black Drama and Full 'n Soft. I have the Colossal but find that Heroine Make, Fairy Drops, and YSL are all better choices for volume.
OOh, this Maybelline looks good on you...However, Maybelline doesnt work well for my lashes :(

I have the same problem with my eyelashes, they're non-existent, so I'll give this a try, I like that it made you look like you had lashes, hopefully it does the same for me!
