Bobbi Brown's Skin Foundation

Hey all! How is your Tuesday thus far? Mine has been incredibly draining from the lack of sleep. I suppose I stay up too much to watch movies or read books o_o I'm living it up, mundanely. =p

Anyhow, as mundane as it can be during the week, I try to stay afloat and take my makeup for a spin. Over the years, I've collected many foundations... it's horrid to think how much money I've wasted invested, but everyone's got their hobbies right?

The Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation is relatively new for me, and I've used it several times for numerous occasions. I can say right now that it's a very nice formula, and tries very quickly so you have to work quick to set it otherwise it will dry out and become blotchy. Aesthetic-wise, gorgeous packaging. Simple layout, signature font. I love it. The range of shades are also really great... I've nearly found a perfect match. I am between Sand and Warm Sand, both of which go on perfectly by itself. I only own Warm Sand, but I've swatched Sand at the Bobbi Brown counter and decided to get a half shade darker just in case.

Are you a big fan of Bobbi Brown cosmetics? What's your favorite? :) I am dying to try their foundation stick!

Reminder: Don't forget to enter my giveaway ending tomorrow (8/24) to win a giftcard to Apothica and SkincareRX! You can get yourself some Bobbi Brown, Shiseido, Stila, etc :) (link to giveaway)
It's opened to everyone! =)

I'm a fan of Bobbi Brown pot rouge cremes for cheeks and lips! I love the simple but cool Bobbi Brown packaging. Well, foundation is something you use everyday so it's a good investment. :)

Haha I'm like you living it up mundanely. It's my last days of summer and I spent it blogging/taking blog pictures... catching up on blog reading haha.

I really want to try Bobbi Brown foundations but they're too pricey for me :X I've gotten a sample of this particular foundation though from sephora and I didn't really like the scent of it :\ I'm actually more interested in the natural finish foundation from bobbi brown.

I really want to try the Bobbi Brown Corrector and Creamy Concealer. I've heard such good things about them. Currently saving up!

I can actually imagine how much foundation's stashed in your drawer --- you've got a bunch of foundie posts :D care to throw some over here? Haha.

I've never owned BB foundations but I guess I will buy them when I get richer. They just have the most amazing formulation everytime I ogle at it at counters (I just look and not try out because I get a bit intimadated by the consultants over high-end makeup brands... they're kinda snotty over here when you don't purchase).

I wanna wait for the post where you wear Warm Sand. I bet it'll be yet another stunning FOTD post.

I love this foundation AND the stick foundation. I also have the Luminous, which I love too.

I wear 3.5 Warm Beige and when I'm tan I wear 4 Natural. I used to wear Sand before we got the house in Oman - I am sure I will never be NC20 again!

I haven't try Bobbi Brown foundation yet but I do love their tinted moisturizer. It's not heavy and has a wonderful coverage. I find that Bobbi Brown has essential makeups that gears to every age. Thanks for sharing this post and would certainly look into her foundation in the future.

I've been curious about this one, looks great! I have one of her other foundations (natural finish, maybe?) and though it's okay, it's not my favorite...just doesn't wow me, I guess.

Ahh! Thank you so much for sharing--I've always wanted to try bobbi brown foundation, but they're so expensive!! I think I'm going to try this one :) Are you around NC25-30 btw?

I have yet to get my hands on any Bobbi Brown products. I know, it's depressing and sad. But I've always wanted to try their gel liner but they only ever have brown whenever I go to the outlet. I would love to try one of their foundation sticks though. I remember when either Estee Lauder or Lancome used to have them but then they discontinued them.

Aw thank you. I dislike my brows when they aren't shaped. IDK. I guess it's just a personal pet peeve of fine but thank you for the compliment.

Oh man, I totally WASTE so much money on foundation. hahaha. I have to buy so much since my shade changes too much during the year. Sometimes up to 5 shades. crazy, no? I haven't used Bobbi Brown foundations, but I hear wonderful stuff about them, and it's on my to-try-in-the-future list!

I always hear great things about the Bobbi Brown foundations and concealers, but I have never personally tried the foundation myself. Lately I've been preferring bb creams to heavier foundations, but this is one of the foundations that I have been considering trying for a long time :)

ooh i've always wanted to try bobbi brown. i have found that my money is better spent on just using concealer instead of all-face foundation. it lets my acne-prone skin breathe better too :) i stay up way tooo late watching movies and reading too! *high five* *baggy eyes* hahaaa

i have this foundation, but i dont use it as often as other foundations, because i find that it dries my skin out and makes it oily, i love her concealer though!

Looks great! I'd love to try out Bobbi Browns foundations but I've got backups of others that I can't ignore! They're quite pricey here too but I wouldn't mind considering how raved they are. Haha...yep...make up is definitely an 'investment' in many senses!
