I kind of need your help with my next post =p I'm at a whirl with what to post next. I have lots of ideas swirling in my head, but not sure which I should post about first so I did poll to see what you guys would be interested in reading.
In some other news, yesterday I got a really nasty email from someone about how ugly and disgusting I look with (and I quote) my huge forehead and moles all over my face, etc and how foolish my blog is at the current moment. It is the first time I'd ever receive hate mail that directed so strongly. Creepy right? The part that disturbed me was the fact that it was a well thought out and well written email =/ I was kind of down for a little bit, but then I realized how much awesome people I've met here and how everyone showed me acceptance through blogging and supported my little piece of space. I'm not letting her nasty email ruin my day or my week for that matter.
Any weird experiences you had with negative people on Blogger?

Terrible lighting I know --
I woke up ridiculously early before the sun rose and was playing with the blinds to find better lighting. Complete fail, I know. What was not a fail was that I was dabbling with my Laura Mercier lip stain pot and fell in love with it again. Used it on lips and cheeks.

don't let that email get you down. clearly that person is insecure about themselves and is projecting it on you. i think you're beautiful inside and out and the fact that you shared it on your blog means that you're confident with yourself :)

As for the hate mail you received, you could look at it in a different light. I was taught that "hurting people only hurt people"... meaning those who do hurtful things on purpose, like saying hateful things toward someone, actually are hurting on the inside themselves. The best thing is to not let their words affect your attitude or spirit, and continue moving forward, and just be willing to freely extend forgiveness to those who wrong you.
Also, you're beautiful! Don't ever think otherwise. And I don't just say that to be nice. You really *are* beautiful, with great bone structure and great skin. The moles are not ugly either, they just make you, you. :-)
WTF?! What kind of person does that?! I'm glad you're not letting it get to you, obviously the person who wrote those horrible things is not very happy with herself and just goes around taking it out on other people >:[

Ehh..I've never understood hate mail, especially if the person they are hating on didn't do anything particularly offensive to them directly. Isn't it just easier to passively click the X button and say "I didn't like ___. Let's not look at this anymore?" rather than to take the time to write out a whole email expressing their opinions. And by the way she nit-picked at you..she must have some implanted template on a blogger should and shouldn't look, which is terrible and very unrealistic :\ Maybe the person they're criticizing doesn't mind those 'flaws' they dislike so much.
Ahh one of the many reason why I'm hesitant about posting up full face photos of myself lol At least you have the courage to face all the possibilities that could come at you. Obviously the emailer is trying to hurt your feelings but why? I don't see why anyone would find it appropriate to send hate mail to you or anyone else! People do such petty things and for what good reason -___-?

I'm sad to hear that you were a victim of random negative ppl trolling around the net. Yes I have gotten targeted negative communications like that, and try not to let it get to me. You're awesome for seeing the positivity past that because yes for every creeper there are so many more friends and supporters on here. I voted for sunscreen comparisons because I need a good non-greasy one that will stay!
And to answer your question, I'm using R&R blush in "immoral" - but any orangey blush would do. I'm so in love with orange blush right now : )

-__-;;; Seriously some people.... I can't fathom why they even take time out of their day to craft a hateful email to someone they've never met. It's one of the dark sides of the Internet I guess...anonymous people who feel they can get away with saying rude things since nobody can punish them. You're definitely one of the people that make the blog community a great place to be~ ^_^

Never recieved hate mails before :S sounds like some nasty person is bored enough to being writing a well thought out letter. don't worry about it. i'm sure everyone gets hate in their lifetime. It's just one person right so let them be and let them say what they want. you have better things to do than sit there and let them step on you. you're doing a great job with the blog and it's a personal choice to blog anyway. beside you do better than those who start a blog and then never update it :p

omg...i'm so sorry you received a hate mail...but hey - that person probably read through your blog pretty extensively to have so much to say about you..! I guess you've gained notoriety ;P don't let that person get to you! beauty comes in all shapes/forms/sizes~ everybody has their unique beauty and its brave of you to show it to the world in public!! I'm still on the shy side these days when it comes to sharing myself on the internet. I used to be so different as a teenager, but things change!!! ;P so ROCK ON!

I haven't had any negative experiences with blogger so far - everyone seems friendly but I guess it's cos I'm still pretty new. I think it's because your blog is so popular, you have so many readers, AND you're beautiful and interesting - they're just jealous! I voted lip stick! Because I don't wear any yet, haha. YESSS I'm only 18 :P but I usually get misunderstood as 13-14 rofl :( I still want a micro dermabrasion because I want to see how those feel!! But like I said, I will wait it out until much later in my life when I really need it. For now just a good cleanser and exfoliator and not too much make up :D
:( I'm sorry about this shit e-mail you received. I don't really update my blog much (Thanks Uni!) but I do worry that somebody will come along and say something horrible when I do post. Anyway, it's best to just ignore these people. It sounds trite, but it's their problem not yours and there has got to be something seriously wrong with them to feel the need to put somebody down like that. They're not worth your time.

I can't believe how horrible some people can be. They are probably just jealous of how truly beautiful you are. I think as bloggers we are all bound to get negative comments, but you are right about one thing. We meet more amazing people than bad people. And having these awesome friends is worth the couple of negative comments that we receive. :D
You totally do not look "ugly and disgusting". Just think of it this way: haters, although irritating, are just another sign that your blog really is getting attention. Besides, for that person to actually waste time writing hate mail says a lot about his or her pathetic social life.

You are a gorgeous girl, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Such a hurtful email can only be fueled by jealousy. I'm so glad you decided to not let it bother you. The more popular your blog is, the more haters will find it unfortunately. But let that be a testament to how successful your blog is!
That's a terrible thing for that person to say to you. I'm glad to hear that you haven't let it get to you and you are still so upbeat and positive about the incident. Usually the ppl who say such mean and hateful things are the ones that are secretly jealous or envious of something you possess. Please don't let haters like this affect your blogging - I think you are gorgeous :)
