I had an incredibly busy week at work but it all feels worth it in the end when you accomplish things you wanted to and have the weekend to look forward to.
I wanted to make a short post on an eye look I did this week. Many of you have commented and said purple eyeshadows is really complimentary to dark brown eyes. So instead of my usual bronze, I tried a sweep of purple. It's such a romantic color I think, both in warmth and shade.

I like purple on you! I like a lot of variations in the purple family, though some purples I have problems pulling off (or maybe just have to watch out what I pair with them). I LOVE Sidecar, but the fallout in there puts me off most of the time! Only very occasionally do I use that shade because of the fallout!

I LOVE purples/plums! It's such a great pop of color. I think it's flattering on any color eye too. But it definitely helps make brown eyes pop! <3
It's also complimentary to most asian skin.
The eye makeup looks really feminine and subtle. It looks good on your eyes :)

Glad you're trying out some other colors! I too have just been so in love with neutrals its hard to step away! I think the purples from l'oreal are so lovely, there's two shades of purple in their infallible line, you should check them out!
