Eve Pearl Lipstick Review!

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to thank you guys for commenting on my last post! I applied some hydrocortizone cream to my face and it's gotten a lot better. I cleansed my face with a very light cleanser... currently using the ever gentle Cetaphil face wash. I will be trying tea tree for future blemishes and i will keep a lookout for grapeseed oil. I'm also going to try and make a milk, oats and honey mask since I'm not going to wear anything that will inflame my skin more. Thank you for all your suggestions!

I wanted to review these Eve Pearl lipsticks I purchased a few months ago. These were kind of impulsive, but I'm loving the silky formula.

I got two colors - one in Nude Beach and one in Love Story.

Nude Beach is a very pale/light peach color. It's a little too light by itself, but it's very pretty with a peach colored lip gloss!

Love Story is a gorgeous rose. The color is casual, romantic and doesn't scream high maintenance like bold reds!

Love Story

Nude Beach

Overall, I really the formula in the Eve Pearl lipsticks. The only thing I'm not too excited about is the fact that they charge $24 per lipstick on their website! Other than that, the formula is very moisturizing and slightly glossy. They have a very wide color range and lip palettes. The pigmentation is on par with the shades that I have and it lasts about 3 hours if you're not constantly eating or drinking like me!

I'd love to try vampire kiss next! I'll probably check out their dual concealer that everyone loves!

Have you tried Eve Pearl before? Thoughts? =)

Disclaimer: All the EP lipsticks were purchased by me! :)

"Love Story" lipstick looks very pretty! Love the gold sheen it has. $24 is pretty hefty of a price.

Thanks for sharing these colors, they are really pretty and that sucks about your previous post. I hate when stuff like that happens especially on the face. But I'm glad it's getting better. :)

Oh yes, I agree with your take on Love Story, not high maintanience and it can go with pretty much any outfit or eye look! I'm definitely digging that shade. Haven't tried eve pearl before, I've heard lots of great things and a make up artist who had a bad personal experience corresponding with eve pearl herself!

Hope your skin gets better soon! My skin has begun getting oilier the past few days with signs of blems wanting to emerge...so much for months of clear skin! I'm starting on oatmeal scrubs soon! :) Do keep us posted! :)

$24 is a hefty price to pay. But lipsticks usually last a long time.

Nude beach is so pretty on you.

Oh no, what happened to your skin? I gotta read your previous posts. By the way, these lipsticks are sooo pretty and I love the shades you got. I've always been curious with the Eve Pearl line, especially their concealers. Maybe I'll wait for a sale so I can try them out.

lovely lippie colours! I had an allergic reaction from waxing before (Still flares up every now and then) and has made my upper lip very senstive - I find Trilogy Rosehip oil and Trilogy Sensitive Fluid very soothing and gentle for this - Hope this helps :)

Both of them are gorgeous shades I'd find myself buying. I really like nude beach but then again I'm just naturally drawn to nude lipsticks. $24 a pop is pricey for sure though, I'd have to be really tempted I still think it's crazy I purchased Nars lipsticks for that price.

The Love Story is a great color on its own but you're right about the peach - it's a little too nude so you'll have to use another lipstick/lipgloss or dab it gently. I've never heard of this brand so thanks for the review - I can literally see the moisture in this product!

oh i'm glad your skin has gotten better, but hun i gotta warn you (but u should probably know) don't use too much the hydrocortizone and specially not for longer than 6 DAYS!Or your skin will get addicted to it and won't be able to heal on it's own and it will be a pain in the ass to dis-addicted! And try to use at the same time some cream with cu/zn (Copper and Zinc) like the "Créme Anti-irritations" from Uriage to help the process of healing!
Love story is for sure the best one!;D

Next time for pimples try some salicylic acid and tea tree. Sorry for the warming but as a pharmacy student i just had to warm you.

I love EP lipstick. I wear Park Avenue Rose constantly and have just purchased a replacement tube. PAR happens to be Eve Pearl's favorite lip color and is mine too. This color is a mid tone mauve pink that is long lasting, non bleeding, shimmer free and very creamy. I have not worn any of the shimmery colors from this line but if they are anything like PAR don't hesitate to purchase.
