I'm back with another post about those NYX Black Label lipsticks! Check out Acapulco and Nude here! Those two are definitely some of the best moisturizing lipsticks I have ever owned! Here are two more! ;) I finally opened them this past week and I am again amazed by how balmy these feel and how moisturizing they are. They really make my lips feel pampered =p
Here are India and Beige!
Both are very soft looking and can be worn right out of the tube.
Beige is a shimmery brown lipstick that is a bit darker than what I had imagined but still a very natural and soft shade for the lips.
It's kind of a dramatic shade for me because I am pretty light skinned and the contrast of the brown creates an almost vampy color. Which I totallllllllllllly freaking love. It gives my boring lips some personality =p A very sultry color by itself and not the "beige" color I really had in mind but I actually like it a lot more than I thought i would when I first saw it in the tube.
India is a shimmery bright pink lipstick that looks especially nice over a shiny clear gloss. On my lips it leans toward a purplish tint but it's such a sweet color :) I really like it so much. The only downside is that this particular shade is not as moisturizing as all my other black label ones. I really like India over Mac's Virgin Kiss Lipglass.
Virgin Kiss over India. I'm really liking this combo right now. Something about clearish gloss with reflective pink shimmers ;)
Overall, I highly recommend NYX's Black Label lipsticks to anyone, especially people who are have lipstick phobia. They are great starter lipsticks and apply wonderfully. Not the longest lasting lipstick but it lasts a good 3-4 hours when you go out. Be careful when stuffing your face though ;) It won't last long at all that way. I bought them from Cherry Culture and they were around $6 each. Well worth the price for such a versatile range of colors!

In other news, I'm going to be in Santa Cruz tomorrow for Durbin day! LOL If you are familiar with this season's American Idol, you'll know he was voted off yesterday :( I was so distraught. It's a conspiracy, I tell you. But he'll be performing tomorrow (that's his hometown) and I am suuuper excited. I went to the university over there and haven't visited since 2009.
Here's a random eye look I did during Mother's Day. I'm in love with blue eyeshadows right now.

hii! :D yup i've tried that before,the gold range before i switch to the green one.it was okay,i guess it suits those with normal to dry hair. mine can get very oily at times,sigh. :)

India is such a pretty colour!! I think beige is pretty too, but India is more girly :) Why does the US get all the good stuff?? *rants* hahaha anyways, I hope you have fun in Santa Cruz! Xx

The colors look great on you! I'm surprised how dark Beige looks though - that is definitely not beige at all! I have India and love how it looks as well, but I agree that it's the most drying of all the BL lipsticks I bought. Btw NYX is having their 12 year anniversary sale on Sunday! You know I'm def going to be stocking up on the BL lipsticks haha :D

I really like beige. Though it's darker than the name suggests, dark lipsticks can look really bold and elegant. =)

INDIA definitely. It's so pretty! I haven't shopped NYX in forever...i might pick up some more lipstick colors even though I'm still religiously using Pumpkin Pie ^^
i can't decide which one i like better because both do look good on your lips haha! i like these lippies although i'm not crazy about their scent. =)

I wanted to get lipglasses for so long, but after buying Plushglass, it was too sticky for me. What are the texture like with the lipglass? :)
Kristy: I've never tried Mac's lip plush but lip glasses are pretty darn sticky! And very tacky, but the lasting power is pretty long. I still get little glitter bits on my lips at the end of the day! :p

Thanks hun <3 I'm so happy that SOMEONE actually read the entire thing. I'm aware that people who Follow me cause of beauty posts won't be interested in dogs and all, but my dogs are the WORLD to me : ( I wouldn't do without them, so both Freja's surgery and this whole dog-ban thing really tears me apart.
I'm glad that you understand my POV : D You're completely right! If you bother your dog, are acting extremely unreasonable towards it, beat it up etc., then you will end up with a very restless, uncomfortable dog and those are the worst. They're extremely unpredictable which can be VERY scary. We have a brother to one of our friends' dog (their dog was put down last year) and out of no where he suddenly just SNAPPED and started growling, blotting his teeth towards some people who came to look at him. He was staying with us, because our friends just couldn't deal with him anymore.. He was within this 'fence'-thing that we have outside our house, and some of our guests went over to his fence to pet him and he just completely snapped!
I had gone very close to him before that day and he'd been so sweet all the time he was at our house, but some people just aren't meant to have dogs (especially not males) and I'm afraid that the friends we have, that had him to begin with, simply weren't cut for a male. As said, we have his brother and his the biggest goof ball ever. But if we hadn't taken the time to really raise him 'right', he wouldn't have been able to be among others - be it humans or dogs.
Ugh, sorry for the long comment >_<" Didn't mean to spam you.. But obviously the whole 'Treating your dog right'-thing is important to me.
I only have two NYX Black Labels, but I love them! Lightweight, creamy, perfect amount of pigmentation--if NYX hadn't been so terrible with how they handled their 12-hour sale, I'd be more inclined to buy more.

i picked india. a beautiful baby pink with glitters. where do you buy the black label range. i don't see it in my local stores. is it only available online?
Cushy: I bought it on Cherry Culture. There's many stores online I've seen them at but CC is the most reputable I've heard of :p I've never seen them in store either!

These are awesome swatches. I own so much NYX round lipsticks and I don't even use them that much. And seeing these Black Label swatches are making me want to buy some too. India is really pretty!
