Maybelline Eye Studio

When Maybelline Eye Studio first made its debut in stores, I was pretty skeptical. It seems like they just repackaged and remarketed their already bad eyeshadows. Plus, I already hoard all sorts of eye makeup stuff so this particular collection didn't intrigue me enough to buy. Until they went on sale! Clearance style. That was when i decided to try it since $1.66 won't set me back too much =p I do my most action packed hoarding when things go on sale. I'm not sure why, but I always feel like things will get up and run away from me if I don't buy it. LOL. I know I'm not the only one who thinks so =p I hope not.

Anyway, I only picked up one of their single eyeshadows to try since I didn't have too much hope for it. Took it home and played around with it. Turns out that I really like it. I have bad judgment when it comes to stuff like this. I always think I won't like something but then it turns out I'm wrong =p

This shade is called Starlet. It's a silvery blue/steel color with a frost silvery pink highlight.

What do you guys think their eyeshadows? :) I'm happy I got to try this shade. I really dig the fun shimmery colors.

it's a cute color combo...pink & silvery duo. the cool colors really brighten your eyes.
you do another post wearing more of the pink color...i'd be interested to see what that looks like. :P

I'm exactly like you :) I wait for everything to go on sale, and when I do pick one up, I check our reviews, and hoard them ^^;; I recently picked up 3 of Maybelline's Dream Mousse blush lol... It'll take me forever to finish :)

Love the eye makeup!!

That's a pretty shade on you! Actually I've never tried their eye studio eyeshadows before. I've only tried their Eye Quads (Stylish Smokes and etc.) and I mostly like them--some of them I can do without but I generally have a positive feeling towards them. What are your thoughts on that range? Wow $1.66 is a great bargain! I wish Canada has crazy deals like that!!

I think their eyeshadows are always a hit or miss. It really varies. Sometimes they will have quads that have one or two REALLY good colors but then the others will be shit. You can never really know until you test it out!
But the ones you have are pretty! Good job.
Also, thanks for taking the time to keep up with my 30 Day Challenge. It means a lot to me because i'm pouring my guts out over here and you're actually taking the time to give me a response

xoxo

I usually don't like things from Maybelline but if this ever goes on offer, I'll get it too! it looks very pretty on you!

I did the intralase lasik rather than the conventional lasik because it has less risk and shorter healing period. It's initially a little weird when you go sleep and everything's still all clear instead of blurry (removed glasses) XD but it's great to finally having to stop relying on contact lenses and glasses, if you ever decide to, go for it!

It's also good since if there's every an emergency, I won't spend your precious few seconds looking for my glasses XD especially since I'm blind as a bat without them, nyahahaa

I havent tried these shadows yet since i have so many other ones >_<

I get pants from limited in store since their sizing runs a it big, it's best to try them on beforehand.

These mineralised duo eyeshadows are never kind to me, they fall every where probably cos I'm so clumsy :(
Glad you enjoyed my post xD someone should put together a collection of all the Asian parent sayings. Pass it onto the next generation lol

Wow 5 years?? That means you invested well in that brush of yours. Wishing you success in finding a second brush, I was thinking to myself whether or not I should buy a second blush brush =)
