Light Flush

MAC blushes are synonymous to their brand for good quality, wearer friendly makeup. One of my favorite blushes is the MAC MSF in Light Flush. It's a soft balance of pink and copper, complete with a golden finish. The shade itself earthy pink flush that resembles nature's beautiful reflection of autumn. I really adore this blush and was sad to see it hiding in the back of my makeup drawer. BUT, I brought it back! I hope it gets more uses now.

It gives a lustrous, glowy elegant finish that just tops all my other blushes. The complexity of this is the layers of flattering colors and not just one simple shade.

 One swipe of the blush!

There is all the rage with R&R blushes right now and I wish I could've gotten some. Eek! I actually placed an order on their site when they had the 50% but they sent me an email later apologizing that all was sold out :( Even the not so popular colors were gone. Oh well, let's hope they have another sale soon :)

I hate using flash because it really washes out the makeup I used, especially the blush. Frustrating because I took these at night and the flash also casts a strange tan that I don't have o_o

Products used:

Bare Escentuals in Golden Medium
MAC MSF in Light Flush
Clinique E/S palette
Lancome Artliner
Lancome mascara
Nars Sunset Strip gloss
Loreal Peach Fuzz lipstick

What is/are your HG blush(es)? :)

I agree with you, I love mac blushes. I like their eye shadows a lot too. They have a great staying power. It's a really pretty color btw.

Hey Jen, I totally understand how you feel about flashes and taking photos at night. So I always try to take in natural light. Love your smile!

I very rarely wear blushers, I prefer bronzers, but I agree MAC blushers are amazing. Your look is gorgeous.

Hi Jen! The blush looks so pretty on you! Good thing you brought it back. I love it when you find makeup that you don't really reach for, but you find it useful once again. =] My favorite blush would have to be Benefit's Coralista.

I get grumpy every time I see someone chirping on about their "simply amazing" R&R blushes. Pah! living in O' Canada sucks, nothing ever ships this way :(
You should wear pinky-mauves on your eyes more often! so pretty! I wear pinky-mauves I end up looking like I have a nasty bout of hay fever :(

this mineral blush is super gorgeous on you! i love the golden sheen that gives it a healthy pop.

aww your comment made my day :) girl you gave me so many good suggestions haha i will play with the photo later in photoshop and definitely remember to wear this skirt with leggings in the winter snow and shoot in the same field or something xD great minds think alike!

i want to see your wearing your floral skirt and floppy hat! haha i think fashion really is daunting sometimes. you have to stop looking at yourself in the mirror so much and just go out feeling like you have on something completely normal and flaunt it. that makes people look and stare in a good way ^__^

Hey, thanks for dropping by. I've followed you.

Wow, that's a nice colour. I've never owned anything from MAC before =( I will one day! Like you, I hate how photos turn out at night. Hence, I always take photos in the day or not take any at all >.<

I haven't tried any MSF's yet but this color looks dewy yet radiant on your cheeks! I do own a bunch of the R&R blushes and are very happy with them, but having never really tried MAC i can't say how they compare.
