Borghese makeup brushes at Costco!

I love Costco. And I especially love when they collaborate with makeup companies to sell their products there. This time (and many times before) they released makeup brushes by Borghese. I usually have to wait until the end of the year to get it because they're limited edition during the holidays. But it's the middle of April and I found them in the store while doing my usual weekday Costco runs! And it looks like they're from the Borghese collection, and not a collaboration with Kirkland (Costco's brand)...Yay! I absolutely LOVE them. They are such high quality brushes! Look at the pictures :)

Kabuki Brush - Very dense brush and soft brush head. Picks up powder really evenly.

Angled blush/contouring brush - Probably my favorite of them all! It's dense enough to pick up a lot of product in one sweep. I use it for blushes and bronzers :)

Duo Fiber Stippling Brush - Not sure how it compares to Mac's but this is my first duo fibre brush.

Round Foundation Brush - Great on the face. Really evens out foundation and creams on the nose areas

Concealer Brush - This one is okay. I have many concealer brushes like this one.

Fluffy Blending Brush - LOVE it. It's perfect for highlighting and blending in colors

Eyeshadow Brush - Brushes evenly right at the lids. I really love this brush as well.

Angled Eye Contour Brush - Haven't used this one yet!

Angled Brow Brush - Another okay brush. I have many similar to it.

Comes with a magnetic brush roll :) No room for the Kabuki though =/

I really love them so much! They are perfectly sized, perfectly tapered and uberly soft. The brush heads are dense and can pick up makeup better than all my other ones. During Christmas last year, I bought another Borghese set that collaborated with Kirkland but it wasn't as good. Quality wise, this set has been the best so far out of all the years I've seen Borghese brushes from Costco. I was looking on Ebay for different brush sets because my other ones are all old and ratty and I am so glad that I didn't impulsively buy them online *phew*
Best part? It only cost $23.99! ^_~ Isn't that just ridiculous?! It's probably cheaper than the professional ELF brush rolls. Or around the same price. It is amazing quality for brushes that cost so little :)

If any of you are interested in purchasing this brush set but don't have a Costco membership or don't live near one, I can help you buy it and send it to you. I'll be going back sometime next week and I won't mind picking up more of these. Just shoot me an email if you're interested :)

Anyway, today was a gorgeous day outside. I woke up early and did my makeup :) I love it when it's all bright outside. It just makes you want to start the day.

I'm wearing Skin Food Aloe BB Cream, Bobbi Brown brown eyeshadow, Loreal Telescopic Mascara, Revlon Baby Pink lipstick, and MAC Dainty blush.

And below is my top! I wore it over a cotton blazer and pants later on.

Omigodness!!! They're sooooo gorgeous!! Are they super soft and fluffy? I'm particularly interested in the kabuki!! Did they just come out? And are they synthetic fibers or hair?
Sorry for asking so many questions =P I just love costco brushes =P

I wish I lived there, too! I'm staring at that plump kabuki that looks like the hairs are gonna burst outta the ferrule! I love dense kabuki brushes!

I wish I didn't click on this post :( Makes me want those brushes real bad (round foundie brush, angled blush brush, blending and lid brushes, and of course, ms. plump kabuki)!

Sometimes, Costco surprises everyone. Every once in a while there is a definite diamond in the rough. I don't do makeup, so I probably don't understand quite how nice the brushes are, but that's still very awesome. (:

Thanks so much for this, I was looking for these around Christmas time. I don't neeeeeeeddddd more brushes but I'm headed to Costco to look for them anyway :)

Wow great value for the price!

It's funny you mention Costo because I love it for the same reasons you do. Problem is, we don't have a Costco where I live. I have to ask my mom to get stuff for me, but she rarely ever goes there because she gets tempted to buy everything! What a dilemma!
Anyway, great brushes. And the look you creates is pretty (as always)!

your blouse is so pretty!

alcupcake: It's a mix of natural bristles and synthetic ones. Personally I love the natural fiber ones, like the blush and contouring brush. Most of the e/s brushes are made of natural fibers and the concealer and flattened brushes are synthetic :)

I want those brushes especially the kabuki and the round foundation brush! Too bad there's no Costco here and those brushes aren't available. :(

On a lighter note, I love your FOTD. Your skin looks radiant and glowing. :)

Those brushes do look pretty good and I love that it came with a case. I still haven't bought a complete set of brushes but that's probably because I can't see myself using them all.

I love your headband and your skin is always glowing! Nice weather definitely makes me want to be more active. It has been pretty nice recently hasn't it?! I hope it warms up soon.

I actually don't wear much makeup at all, but have been considering starting to wear a teeny bit, so blogs have been really helpful for that. Thanks for sharing :) I think I'm heading to Costco tomorrow or the day after, so I might take a look :)

Oh wow these brushes look like the best quality! I wish the UK Costcos were as good as the ones in the US. They're more restricted to trade only (my parents own their own business so we sometimes go) but they carry more or less the same things!

Eeeek must go to Costco! Which one did u go to ig u don't mind mr asking? I hope mine will carry it! I usually go to the fremont one.

Aww I wish I had a Costco membership...these brushes look really high quality, and for such a great price too! My Sephora brushes are starting to fall apart, so I'm looking to get them replaced soon ><

Went to Montclair, CA Costco and they had the set but the price tag had the asterisk so that means that is all they will have in stock. After they run out from the current stock, most likely a new set will be coming in.

Great brushes and sizes. A month ago I got the Urban Decay Naked palette, so I can't wait to try it out with the new brushes. I had not purchased since Garden Botanica was in business and those were wonderful brushes at a fair price point. None are ragged and it's been 10 years of use and cleanings.

Wow, $23.99 is an amazing price for that brush roll! I have to check out my local Costco soon...thank you for posting :)

Damn! I wish I went to Costco today. I was originally going to go but my weekend trip made me sleep til 3pm today. I am currently searching for brushes too and these would be perfect! Did you see the Stila palette at Costco awhile back? That was gorgeous too. Thank you so much for posting this up. Great headsup I will definitely grab a set next time I go. xoxo
