Warm teas and pretty cups

I was going to post earlier but was stuck cleaning something. Before you know, time flies!

Anyway, I did a FOTD for tomorrow. Yes, I know..it's kind of weird that I prep for tomorrow when but I find that I just love to put on makeup and feel nice even if I have to wash it off before bed. It's a security thing, I guess? o_o Well, that and the fact that I have some time to put on some color. I really want to do one of those before and afters, but I feel hideous w/o anything on!

Here is what I wore:

FACE
Bare Minerals foundation in Golden Medium
Cargo blush in Tonga
Clinique Pore Minimizer in Invisible Light (01)
Alba clear lip gloss in Passion Fruit Nectar
Smashbox brow tech for my eyebrows

Eyes
Lancome concealer in Beige (undereyes)
Lacome Graphic Color in Chic Plum (06) - I used the very light blue in the palette. Doesn't say what the color is! =/
Covergirl Volume Exact in Black
Shu Umera eyelash curler

I find that I really like mineral foundations. They feel much better on the skin than liquids. It's hard to find the right color in liquid foundations for me! I usually use Dior Purelight or Smashbox HD foundation but my face changes color in different lighting, especially inside restaurants or bars. It does not look nice to have one color on your face and another on your neck. After I finish BE, I think I'm going to try Everyday Minerals. Or a drugstore brand... =) What are your favorite foundations?

The weird lighting kind of makes it hard to see my eyeshadow and blush. I just used the blue shadow as the base and blended it with a little of the browns. The blue makes my eyes appear brighter and will be especially necessary to look well rested. Next time I'll take some photos during the day so the lighting will be better :)

Take care! :)

Haha I'm one of those ones that just puts on makeup at night for fun and washes it off right afterwards.

How do you like the Pore minimizer?

:)

I've neglected the pore minimizer for years but I realize how magical it can be as a primer :p

so prettiful! :) I love the natural look of mineral foundations as well :) I was actually about to purchase a BE matte formula the other day but I read some reviews that some ppl break out from this line? eek. As for a drugstore brand i've only tried loreal bare naturale and i didn't like it at all, it would make these weird cake like marks whereever my skin was dry >< but the coverage is actually pretty nice. maybe paring it with a good moisturizer or primer would work out better!

thanks for following my blog! I actually had to change it because of an account error so if you can follow this one! I just deleted the other one. =] Yea, I'm more of a lip balm kind of person than lipstick or lipgloss. Glad to know you are a lip balm junkie too. So I'm not the only crazy one! lol

Lovely FOTD. I don't think it's weird that you prep the night before. Atleast you know what look you want and won't waste time in the morning. =D

Thanks for dropping by my blog and the sweet comments. No... I don't really have any cool regimen. I've just been experimenting A LOT and I think I'm okay for now. I keep buying too many products and I'm horrible at finishing them. So for now my goal is to finish what I've got before buying anything else.
So, how are you enjoying Norcal? I miss Socal like no other; the food, the shopping and especially my friends. <3

I noticed you've got two blogs. Is this one your beauty related one and the other your personal one? [I read through a few of your posts.]

What's your skin type?

Mineral foundation is best suited for 'normal' skin~

In general I'm personally not a fan of mineral foundation, but I'm happy that you like it lots~! ^^

Ohhh pretty!
Haha wow I'm usually super lazy about washing makeup off before I sleep (which is a bad thing)so I don't put it on unless i really need to XD
Anyway, super pretty FOTD :P I've never tried mineral foundations before but maybe I will in the future XD

Jenny: Thanks! :) That site that you bought the eye shadow primer has good ingredients in their products. I ordered from them too and I can't wait to receive it :)

Serena: Thank you :) Yes, I do have two blogs! :p One is what I do on a daily basis, although I don't update daily and the other one is for makeup experimentation or fun buys :p I do love Norcal very much... I've lived here for 3 yrs. I go home to LA every so often (once a month or so). I do miss socal too! :) Esp the food =) Are you familiar with Alhambra/San Gabriel? :p

Skyla Arts: I think I am a combo skin type. My skin gets dry on cooler days but oily on warmer ones :p

Thanks for commenting on my blog =). I love how the Cargo conga blush looks on you. I have been itching to try it for such a long time but Cargo isn't available where I live. =(
