I've been on a lip gloss spree lately. The warmer weather is making me yearn less for lipstick and more for lip gloss. Recently I was contacted by the lovely people over at DLE Cosmetics to try their new light up lip glosses. What intrigued me is that their lip glosses are made with natural ingredients and none of those bad stuff you wouldn't want around your lips anyway. And the packaging is pretty awesome because it lights up! Ready to be used whenever, wherever.
Once I wore the gloss, I noticed how nourishing it is. It is literally silky feeling - a very different sensation from other glosses I'm used to. It was def a pleasant surprise. The formula is very thin and smooth, like wearing a primer.
There is a mirror on the side of the gloss. It takes up on side of the gloss.
Lights up when you're ready to use it. Lights go off when you twist the cap shut.
Jess Barely is a pretty champagne nude shade with golden shimmers. It's a bit clear on me but I appreciate the pretty shimmers. I like the golden sheen and I think this gloss will work great to top off a heavier lip color.
Pink Fetish is a very gorgeous golden pink with gold shimmers. It's a beautiful shade, isn't it? I feel very girly wearing this shade. It's one of those colors you can wear year round and looks flattering. Office chic.
Poison apple is a blue based berry-red that with silvery shimmers. It looks a lot more pigmented in the tube but it's very wearable in the day time and the gloss can be obviously layered for a more opaque, sultry color.
Overall, these glosses are really nice. They're uber comfortable to wear because of its light silky texture. It feels lighter than a lip balm and nourishing like a lip conditioner. The first six ingredients in this lip gloss are oils: castor, coconut, grape seed, jojoba, beeswax and sunflower oil. You can't get anymore nourishing than that, I'm sure ;)
Here's the full ingredient list:
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*,Kaolin, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax*, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa Butter)*, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Powder*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)*,Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E), Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Extract*, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract*, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract*. May Contain: Mica (CI 77019) Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77499), (CI 77491), (CI 77492).
These glosses retail for $8.95 each, or $19.95 for a set of three colors. Check out DLE Cosmetics here.

I don't usually like the gimmick of a light-up gloss, but the formula and shades look really nice! x

The light up lipgloss seems quite cool, but will draw some attention when applying in public haha!
All really nice shades!
I would love to try 'poison apple' ^_^
Oh~ I like 'Poison Apple' on you! I've seen these light-up lip glosses and thought they were so cool, especially touching up at night for example in the car, hehe.
All three colours look gorgeous on you :) You also have fabulous teeth, lol!
I LOVE the pink rose! Also the idea that it lights up is quite nice!
Very cool! My auntie from Hong Kong first showed me this. I didn't know it was available in the US. I'd love to enter this giveaway.
I buy Burt's Bees brand for this very reason; I'm so paranoid about all the chemical additives in cosmetics that I only stick to what I know. It's great to know these are safe!
P.S - It's also good to know that they're light on the lips. Nothing I hate more than lip gloss that feels like glue.
OMGGGGGGGGGGG light up lip gloss!! that is soooo neat!!! hahaha now you can make sure your lips are still glossy even at the club tehehehe :p
ohh i don't work :p but yes everything in germany's fairly close.. it's easy to hop a plane to paris or london or anywhere in europe.. tix are about $300 roundtrip for one person.. we figure that's a better deal then $3k flying from the US haha.. so we try and go somewhere every other month atleast :)
lolz solves the problem of your lip gloss going all over the place due to bad lighting
