Lancome Color Design in Sultry Sienna
The all over base color is a gorgeous matte tawny nude shade.
The lid color is a pretty petal pink with pearly shimmers. Works beautifully as blush as well!
The crease color is a gorgeous chestnut taupe that's soft and matte.
The highlighter shade is a pretty champagne color with fine golden shimmers
The liner color is way darker swatched than in the pan! It's a cool matte charcoal brown.
I'm going to be very happy using this palette for day and night looks. It's pretty, natural looking and simple. The shadows are pigmented but soft enough for a nice look that defines and brightens the eyes. The liner color has a lot of fallout -_- I am not a fan of but it doesn't bother me so much. My favorites has to be the gorgeous taupe and pink. I can't say anything more about the combination... they simply go together like bread and butter!
I look forward to many many uses out of this palette!
I have to admit, I collect eye palettes quite religiously (primarily for admiring them and collecting sake), mostly from brands like Dior, Shiseido and Lancome. I love how they're color coordinated and prettily packaged. And limited editions...a weakness! My biggest gripe is that they're pricey as hell but i always tell myself it could be worse... I mean, smoking is a pretty expensive habit right? Smoking or snorting drugs. I suppose i could do much much worse ;)

Palettes are so expensive! If it were me I'd justify it because there are many shades in one :P But your reasoning works too haha
The shades in this palette are soo pretty :D Without reading the little notes I thought that the liner shade was actually just a shadow. It seems too shimmery to be a liner... Can't wait to see some looks with this palette!

Good justifying reasons! I could be much worse as well. Even though I prefer single shadows, I can't resist grabbing a new eyeshadow palette.
This is such a pretty palette! I love the highlighter and liner shades. I don't own any Lancome palettes, or any high end brand palettes either, for that matter. I'm pretty frugal when it comes to eyeshadows :P

LOL I know right? At least a makeup addiction doesn't damage our health! I don't really "collect" makeup though. I prefer to own pieces I know I'll use, just because I'm practical like that :)

Im a collector... Of anything - not so much high end brands coz i can't justify spending around $100+ for a palette T___T even MAC cosmetics is like... Almost $60-80 (not even the palettes,unless its like from a wholesale site). You have a valid point tho, hoarding make up is better than smoking & doing drugs coz you dont harm yourself... Ish (monetary wise, just a lil - but you can always sell your make up) :D

I wish I was a collector of high end makeup eyeshadow palettes :p But I don't own a single one. This one is gorgeous, the colours are all so pretty! I can definitely see how the lid colour would double up as a blush. I love the taupe crease colour, such a sucker for shades like it :)
The colors look so pretty together! *_* Sadly, I don't have the budget to afford high end cosmetics often...I really have to save up and wait months and months to actually make sure if I want something or not...Ahhh the life of a student!

I totally have a palette weakness too! Big ones and little ones... my latest obsession is the Sigma paris palette... so yummy.
I collect eyeshadow palettes too! (And lipglosses, and blush... sigh). My latest favorite palette is the Sigma Paris palette-- omg. Have you tried it? Gorgeous. I've tried making my own palettes using the small Z palettes but it is harder than it looks.

I've never purchased an eye palette from a high end brand, I feel like I don't have enough skill with eyeshadows to warrant the expense. Still, this is a veeeeeerry pretty palette.

Gosh, the palette is beautiful. Lancome's eye shadows is very smooth and luxurious.
Cosmetics and skincare are as addicting as drugs for me. I do not mind getting more beautiful using the products:) Of course drugs will do the opposite to us.
I've never bought a Lancome palette before but I love to collect palettes. I usually get Japanese high end brands. This one looks so versatile for summer!
Hahah..your comment on it being better than drugs...yes definitely! I love this palette, so wearable and neutral! I love how the liner IS so much darker when swatched but fall out sounds bad...the pink is so nice, I've been in love with light pinks as inner corner highlights...next time, when I've got the spare budget...one lancome palette for me!
Can understand your 'hoarder' instinct when it comes to eyeshadow palettes, especially with the 2 words 'limited edition' because I am guilty of it as well :)
Oh my gosh! I am the ultimate makeup junkie. The colors! The packaging! The collection names! Like Midnight Roses by Lancome. I can't wait to buy it! In fact . . . I'm headed out the door now ;)
